Reannealing

reannealing
renaturation of a dNA sample that has been dissociated by heating. In reannealing the two strands that recombine to form a double stranded molecule are from the same source. Differences in the rate of reannealing led to the early recognition of repetitive sequences which rapidly recombine (have low C0t values).
