Burnet
(Science: botany) a genus of perennial herbs (Poterium); especially, P.Sanguisorba, the common, or garden, burnet.
(Science: zoology) burnet moth, in England, a handsome moth (Zygaena filipendula), with crimson spots on the wings. Burnet saxifrage.
