Homo cepranensis

Definition
noun
(taxonomy) A human species based on the discovery of a skull cap by archaeologist, Italo Biddittu, in 1994. The skull cap is surmised to belong to a human being that lived between 350,000 to 500,000 years ago.
Supplement
The lone skull cap of the species is named Ceprano Man after a town (in Rome, Italy) near to the area where it was excavated. The fossil seemed to be an intermediate of Homo erectus and Homo heidelbergensis based on skull cap features.
