A scientific model advocated by Milford Wolpoff that attempts to explain the origin of modern human beings. It holds that humans originated in more than one site in contrast to the theory that humans originated from only a single site, which is Africa.

This theory is based on fossil records (i.e. skeletal remains of modern Homo sapiens found in Asia and Africa) and genomic data.
