(1) The spore produced and contained within a zygosporangium.
(2) The spore formed by the union of many zoospores.
Supplement
The spore produced by a zygosporangium is large and multinucleated. It is formed by the union of isogametes, such as in certain algae and fungi. The zygosore-forming fungi are called zygomycetes.
