Hypercorticoidism
excessive secretion of one or more steroid hormones of the adrenal cortex; sometimes used also to designate the state produced by therapeutic administration of large quantities of steroids having glucocorticoid activity, e.g., hydrocortisone.

Synonym: adrenalism, hyperadrenalcorticalism, hyperadrenocorticalism.
